De Groene Garage
Band op Spanning is a true green company. And the name befor the transformation into De Groene Garage. It was founded in 2004 by Laurens Drogendijk and is an strong textbook example for many entrepreneurs in sustainable mobility. The Green Garage offers sustainable technology for a too anonimous but very important issue: inflating car tires. They are the only one in the world to have developed the Smart Tire Pump that does bring your tires to the correct pressure. And that in itself is a hugely important fact with major positive climate results.
With love for nature, in action for the our climate
The assignment
The collaboration with The Impacters is ideal. Open and honest, give and take. Working together to have the positive impact that is so desperately needed. The challenge was clear: make the company more successful and less dependent on the whims of the market. And so we have formulated a mission together: towards 2,500 Smart Tire Inflators for 200,000 tons of CO2 reduction. Nothing to be shy about.
Our approach
In the Discover phase with various analyzes it was clear that both the content and style of the communication did not fit the spirit of the times and customer needs. The name 'Band op Spanning' (E: Tyres under Pressure) also did not sufficiently explain the positive climate action that the company stands for. It is great that cars drive more economically, safer and less burdensome with well-inflated tires, and it is more important that our local nature can recover and develop. The work of The Impacters has led to a total metamorphosis of design and narrative.
